End of semester break?
Oh man, I’ve been soooo angry. After being at a meeting at the end of the world Graz my bicycle had no air in one of it’s wheel (aka “I hob an Platten”). Damn. I went to a friend of mine (living behind the end of the world ;-)) to get a script for university and went by bike aeh pushed my bike home which lasted for about one hour.
Being at home I noticed that the end of the semester break is coming closer. At least no more watching Simpsons and Gilmore Girls at ORF1 in the afternoon ;-(. While drinking coffee with my girlfriend we saw three people repairing their bikes which had the same problem as my one ;-). That’s definitely the sign for the end of semester break. :-)

Personally I could do it without “The Simpsons” for some days since I anyway know most episodes by heart, however never without my new favourite “Gilmore Girls”. I’m not completely sure whether it is suitable for a man to choose a TV show about two woman and their problems as his favourite but anymway I simply don’t care. I just love the dialogues and the great humour, even more splendid in the English original.

Simpsons! They should be on the list of the most-wanted criminals of the fbi and instantly removed from all tv programs on this planet.
Don’t know how people older than three (without a some serious mental demage) could force themself so watch such a piece of shit.
Gilmore Girls is quite the opposite, somehow cool, funny, interesting, and the girls are fine too ;-)

“NoSimonsKackiForABetterWorldPlease”: you are obviously not one of those persons who enjoy absurd humor with lots of references to many different movies and events, but please stop insulting people for being one of them.

ak, you seem obviously not to be one those persons who recognize a bit of shit when you encounter it. Thats okay but please stop trying to tell others what they have to do and what they aren’t allowed to do.
And you should have a deep look at the manpage of “freedom of opinion”. May that help you to recognize that if it is allowed to go into raptures about the Simpsons it should be to okay if someone mentions that he thinks its a piece of crap.
I know mika well enough that he too wouldn’t appreciate it if somebody is trying to tell others that they should just critize things he too dislikes… and he knows that there are people out there who don’t like The Simpsons – not many (at least in Graz) but a bunch of us are still alive.
so, andy – how about just to get grown-up and stop telling others what they should do and what they shouldn’t do. at least not if you too wouldn’t be treated by others the same way.
But if someone of the Simpsons fanatics, fans, sympathizers and appreciaters out there felt offended by my previous posting – sorry, that wasn’t my intention. I (might) have used a wrong tongue which is something I’ven’t recognized as I wrote the lines above. That was just…I’can’t excuse it – it was just that…everybody is complaining, bashing, and flaming in a rather harsh way just about anything he dislikes in this very moment – so it was in my case.
Crazy times, I know far more people who like The Simpsons that people who believe in god.
I’m just to dumb to see any sense in tv productions like Simpsons and similiar stuff (like this terrible robot thing), I didn’t want to offend any people you’re smarter than me in this way. (I guess Andy too doesn’t want (at least not in every case he’s flaming about) to offend Windows users/programmers if says something about Windows)

Sorry, to Andy. His english is better than mine – I’ve got him wrong. I thought he is against saying something contra Simpsons – but he just mentioned that I should keep my criticism related to the movie. Again, I’m sorry for that. He’s right and I totally agree with him that wasn’t okay.
