glark: grep++

A replacement for (or supplement to) the grep family, glark offers:
Perl compatible regular expressions, highlighting of matches,
context around matches, complex expressions (``and'' and ``or''),
and automatic exclusion of non-text files.

Was mir besonders gut gefällt sind das Highlighting und “glark –grep –extract-matches”. Für das Highlighting hab ich meistens hgrep verwendet, für das Extrahieren des gesuchten Patterns kam bisher grepc zum Einsatz. Mal schauen ob ich glark soweit liebgewinnen kann dass ich es intuitiv und als interaktiven grep-Ersatz verwenden kann. Die manpage beinhaltet auf alle Fälle noch weitere hilfreiche Usage-Examples.

    GNU grep >= 2.5.* kennt doch “–color”

    Aber AFAICS ist GREP_COLOR nicht so flexibel wie die coloroptions von glark.

    Und erzähl das mit >=2.5 nicht meinen stale-Kisten:
    grep (GNU grep) 2.4.2
