some thoughts on orkut

Personal statements:

• For me Orkut is not really a Web of Trust but a webbased community-centre where you can find people with same interests. Now (after joining orkut) I am in contact with people who I haven't seen for years - I have found them throught orkut.
• Of course google (the ones behind orkut) is able to optimise their search engine with help of people's personal-data, but: you don't have to provide information you don't want to publish, and why resist against improved searchengines?
